Here’s my #shoulderstand for #chakrasmalasmantras. Shoulderstands (like Inversions) calm me down, soothe my tired body and just feel wonderful. The stronger I get, the longer I can hold these and even try new variations. This one is fun for me because once I am here I almost feel like I can stand up ... almost 😉.

I had to reposition myself on my XL @giraffeathletic mat just so you can see how big it is. I usually am more towards the middle of my mat for this shoulder stand (like picture 2) but with this one it’s nice to be able to get both hands and feet on the mat. .

For #iloveyourasana we share our favorite splits. Well I love them all but you all know my love for middle splits. So I wanted to share #oversplits in #middlesplits because That’s what I am working on lately. I used to practice middle splits out here on the lounge chair last spring and just hadn’t in awhile. Well, now I can’t do them without a little holding on because my oversplits touch down onto the cushions. It looked like I was just sitting with my feet up. 😝 It took me a few times to figure this out. So here are my splits supported. Last picture is when I finally realized that my 🍑 was not going to stay up off the cushions if I let go. 🤣. Zoee came to hang out with me too. Actually these loungers are used more by her than by me. I don’t lounge around much 😊. Oh and socks are a must because the arm rests are hard metal 😬 I used them earlier too for the bow pose so these socks are very useful ❤️

I’m so glad this pose fell on a Friday. This is my side lying #bowposevariation It’s perfect for a fun #fridayfail video. I really did try to do this pose. Many times. With straps, without and watched other videos and read tutorials. I decided to just post whatever happened once I had a place to take a picture or video. I also decided not to try to get a closer grip. My hips, back and shoulders are so happy with me right now. So here is my day 23 of #letthewheelsturn and my attempt at the pose and trying to capture it on my own since no one is home to help with an overhead view. .

I had no attachment to this pose and it felt great. I will be truthful though and wish that my backbends and shoulders were progressing faster but that’s just because I have to work hard at them so I expect more from my practice. It’s ok. I won’t focus on that for too long. Now I will focus on what I can do and that always feel good. 💕

If you guessed I would love #epk2 you are right! Also known as #flyingsplits so yeah that’s why. Here are both sides for Day 5 of #handsdownflyhigh. Oh and I am pretty sore from a new core workout this week so I felt every muscle necessary to get a good lift in these. I am still satisfied with my practice even if I didn’t feel as strong as I usually do when I practice this arm balance. .

.This lizardposevariation was one of the many poses I learned by joining #nopantzfriday with @benditlikebay and @clarissa_mae_ last year (or maybe even farther back 🤔). So for #boundlizardpose to be day 3 of #LizardlyLines and to fall on a Friday, I felt it needed no pants. By the way no pants doesn’t really have to mean nothing on. It means no leggings, wearing Leo’s, bikini bottoms, underwear, you get the idea. Just keep it PG -IG rated so no one gets reported 😬. Here is my #boundlizardpose with a double bind of both hands to back foot. I realized later my left hand might just look hidden but it’s not. It’s in the bind too. Makes it tricky but so fun! I picked the spot on my lanai where all the lizards hang out. Except now they don’t come around as much now that my cat Zoee has become an avid lizard hunter. 😧

This headstand is special to me, but not in the best way. 😬 Over a year ago, I tried this pose and coming out of it I tipped over onto my face still in the bind (so no hands to catch my fall) and really bashed my face in 😖. Good news was no bones broken! I healed well but have only ever tried it once after falling out if it. I came across the photos of that second attempt and decided I would practice it again and share it with you. I don’t know it’s name. Do you? Should we name it? .

I loved seeing all the variations of fallen boat today. For tomorrow, we are practicing #grasshopperboat poses. I added a bind around my back to my grasshopper leg. You can’t see it in this first picture so swipe left to see that bind. It’s a tricky balance but engage your core and hold on tight to the lifted leg 😆. So the other day I decided to add another variation of this pose to my post. I got to thinking that grasshopper legs are pretty tricky alone and in a boat pose it might not happen for everyone. So I’ve added one more picture of a supported grasshopper boat. There can be many ways to add grasshopper to your boat. Even baby grasshopper! Don’t forget to check in with my co-hosts for their tips and variations too.

Se você está com vontade de um doce, garanto que esse brownie vai ser sua salvação! Ele fica doce, molhadinho e quem experimentou, adorou! Uma receita maravilhosa! .

Para o brownie:
- 300g de abóbora cozida; - 40g de farinha de aveia/aveia em flocos finos;
- 30ml de óleo de coco - 80g de cacau em pó ou achocolatado orgânico (usei o da @native);
- 1 ovo;
- 1/4 de xícara de MEL (não coloquei, mas fica a critério);
- 5 gotas de essência de baunilha; - 1 pitada de sal;
- 1 colher de chá de bicarbonato de sódio;
- Nozes a gosto (mas pode fazer sem);
- 30g de chocolate meio amargo/70% picado.
Coloque todos os ingredientes (menos o bicarbonato e o chocolate) no liquidificador/processador/mixer. Depois misture manualmente o bicarbonato, um pouco do chocolate e jogue o restante do chocolate por cima do brownie.
