A huge hurdle I hear with clients in regards to their procrastination is not knowing what to do when they are at the gym. This is especially true when they have not been working out for a few days. In this instance I would recommend just coming in and doing general movements for each body part such as pull ups, shoulder presses, squats, and bench press. Do a moderate amount of weight with plenty of reps (Ex: 4X15 for each excercise). This type of workout is not meant for building muscle it is meant to reset your workout momentum aka priming your motivation for the gym again. 💪

Managed to get my lower back and glutes firing properly this morning, so managed to push a 200kg back squat - with a higher bar stance! 😁

This was taken 2 weeks prior to my holiday last July!
All the credit goes to @jamiedorego - who is one of the knowledgable guys out there, and I’d recommend him to anyone!
This was taken after 10 weeks (out of 12) and there was no pre-show carb depletion / carb-up!
During those 12 weeks, I was still playing rugby (not very well at all!); working; and studying for my end of semester exams, as well as a trip to New York around the 6 week mark!
If I can do it, literally anybody can!
Since this, I’ve enrolled on the Level 4 Total Immersion personal training / Nutrition Course (top qualification) - in order to help others with their fitness goals! So, please DM if you have any questions!😁
