Woke up the morning after comp feeling leaner and more full than the morning of comp excuse the random outfit haha I didn’t expect to post it but I’m so proud of myself 💪🏽 My body definitely loved the post comp carbs - rice, fresh fruit, rice cakes & coconut yoghurt 🥥 I believe it’s true that with each comp you do, you learn more about your body. I love the full comp experience (prep, show day & post comp) ♥️ I learn SO MUCH!
A lot of people have been asking me about how to find “BALANCE.” Truth is, balance is different to everyone! One person may feel balance is training once a day along with a chocolate bar or glass of wine at night 🍷 While another may call balance gym 6 days a week with one “free meal” and a rest day ☺️ Neither is right or wrong.
It’s YOUR life 🙌🏽
You have to find what works for YOU! My idea of balance is being able to reach my goals whilst not stressing about date nights or family dinners, cocktails with the girls 🍹 or if I can’t get to the gym 😱 Balance for me is “fit for life,” the idea of peace, happiness and control - physically & mentally 💭
