We decided to utilize our beautiful kitchen and prepared our dinner on our Last day in Japan. Great Grandma's Fleischpflanzerl (Hamburg Steak as my father calls it with quiet an accent). The ingredients we were able to get our hands on in Japan made this one of the best meals we've had thus far. The beef was so delicious and juicy; the high fat ratio of the wagyu made this Hamburg steak almost melt in our mouths. The beautiful deeply colored egg was so rich and tasty, we fried up two more per person! Mopping up the best bits of yolk and juices with our walnut bread really made this one of the most delicious Hamburger we've ever had.
