These teeny brown/gold coloured nutty seeds, also known as linseeds, are an excellent source of fibre (to keep you regular!), protein (to help your body grow and repair) and brain-boosting Omega 3 fats. They are also the greatest known source of compounds called lignans, which can help to fight hormone related health issues. 👉HOW?
• Eat them whole or milled
• Sprinkle over porridge, cereal, yoghurt and salads
• Stir through overnight oats or blend into smoothies
• Add to home-made granola, bread and energy balls

Combine all of them and flatten it in form of bars (you can sprinkle your favourite nuts on the top)!!

Benefits of flax seeds.

- Renforcer le système immunitaire.
- Soulager la ménopause : Riche en phytoestrogènes, la consommation des graines de lin permet de réduire les bouffées de chaleur et de soulager les autres symptômes qui accompagnent la ménopause. - Prévenir les risques de cancer du sein et du colon : Riche en lignages, les graines de lin protègent l’organisme de certains cancers. Pensez donc à ajouter à votre alimentation quotidienne une à deux c-à-s de graines de lin fraîchement moulues. - Baisser le taux de mauvais cholestérol : La consommation quotidienne de deux cuillères à soupe de graines de lin permet de réduire le taux de mauvais cholestérol.
- Soulager la constipation : Les graines de lin sont riches en fibre ce qui facilite le transit intestinal. Laissez reposer une cuillère à café de graines de lin moulues dans un verre d’eau pendant une nuit et buvez l’eau avec les graines le lendemain.

La consommation des graines de lin doit se faire dans le cadre d’un régime alimentaire sain, sans graisses et avec du sport.
