EXTENDED LOCAL/TROPICAL FORECAST: READ BELOW:
Well there has not been much to talk about in terms of wave production recently after Gert left the area. Unfortunately, it looks like things will stay much of the same through the next few days with just minor ESE/SE windswell in the 1-2’ range. May be just enough for a longboard at the better tides and breaks, but it will be very weak overall. The only thing on the radar is the chance for an uptick in S/SSE frontal windswell Wednesday. We anticipate increasing southerly winds Tuesday followed by offshore winds Wednesday. We are going to keep numbers conservative so expect 2-3’ fun sized surf. Nothing special, but at least more rideable than the next few days. Stay Tuned for an update on that.
Additionally, the two tropical disturbances in the atlantic have been battling dry wind and unfavorable conditions for further development. The NHC still gives each a 30% chance of formation so we will keep an eye on them just in case.
