I made a flancocho for hubby to take to work for a couple of his co workers. Pineapple yellow cake batter from scratch with pineapple juice and chunks, cheese flan and homemade carmel. Now I love how moist the cake comes out especially as the carmel just settles over everything but I love textures so I make additional carmel and pour it once the cake is cold which causes the carmel to crystalize making it crunchy.
So off it went to work today and I had my day made. Hubby works at Disney World with the different restaurants and one of the chefs tried my dessert and called me to tell me how amazing it was!
