Happy Thanksgiving eve friends! 🦃 I’m feeling especially grateful this week as I’ve reflected on how faithful God has been this year. This insta community included. ❤️Who knew the genuine friendships, encouragement & inspiration that could be found through an app? I’m sincerely grateful for each one of you!! ❤️
This time last year our home was still filled with a whole lot of dust, tools, and noise and didn’t feel much like home yet. You can swipe to see how dark this view was before the walls were removed, and the disaster that ensued before the “pretty” parts came (the last photo was taken almost exactly one year ago today). It was a chaotic, stressful and often times scary process, but now our home is a place of rest and peace. Remodels are such a hope-filled reflection to me of how God is at work, healing and redeeming the messy and broken things in life, even when we can’t see it. ❤️
I hope you all have a Thanksgiving filled with full bellies and hearts! 🦃❤️ .
If you swipe...
-The doorway is the same entrance as the current french doors, but the opposite view.
-The wall with the built-in shelves and wall to the right in this photo are now gone.
-In the second to last photo you can see where some of the walls once were if you look at the gaps in the ceiling. -The last photo was taken almost exactly one year ago.
