Today's Intent: Letting go
Deck Used: #TheWisdomSeekersTarot by David Fontana, published by Watkins 2017
Cards Pulled: #FivePentacles, #ThreePentacles, and #TwoCups
In relation to these cards, two of three are pentacles and the third is a cup. Notice also that they are in descending order. The suggestion then, is that by lessening our material load we may improve prospects of a romantic or social nature.
In the first card we see a structure full of stuff, almost to the brim. Five can suggest instability and in the context of the intent, can be a detriment. In the center card we see a much less crowded space, which is much more spacious and with fewer things which are necessary in the space and all in their proper place. The space is reminiscent of a church and reminds us of the expression, 'Cleanliness is next to godliness'. In the third card, a cloud bursts. The building is spared the deluge, but benefits from it as water replentishes and nurtures the land on which it sits, making possible and encouraging a meeting between two. The stage is set for romance. This refreshingly uncomplicated reality is meant to be shared.
Sometimes stuff is taken away from us, and in this case, the third card reminds us of the silver lining.
May I pause and remark on what a genuinely gorgeous deck this is?
