This time next week the Jefferson family will be on our annual back to school vacation! I can’t wait to for the salty water, sandy feet, and endless views. -
I LOVE vacations... especially before the start of the academic year because it not only allows us a quality bonding experience filled with FUN and GREAT FOOD but it also refreshes our minds. My kids know that after our big vacation it’s time to go back to school.

This is not easy for me to show or post.... honestly I don’t think it is for anyone.... it’s real a vulnerable! But here is my truth with this program so far! I have been there, done that, tried it! I was what you called a gym rat! I worked at the gym for 8 years! A a personal trainer and licensed massage therapist you would think I was in the best shape of my life...WRONG....
I ate like crap. I really had no motivation internally! I honestly did it to hide I know that sounds really weird... like Caroline how can you hide at a gym? It was a mask I would wear a part I played. Don’t get me wrong I loved my physical job as a personal trainer and a LMT, it’s a huge part of me, but I had to act a lot growing up so I learned how become a chameleon....
This program I challenged myself to take whole heartedly! I had to learn how to eat well, healthy and what that truly meant for me and looked like in my life! I told myself I was going to be disciplined enough to start this program and not stop not give up not miss a day!! I can always start anything but actually finishing and sticking to I Suck at in all seriousness! But I am learning what that means for me and what that looks like! So far it looks like Joy, Happiness, Fulfillment! It feels like I am on top of the world! Physically yeah it looks good and all but what this program has done for me mentally and emotionally is another whole other huge ballgame! I am not done yet! I think I could get used to this traveling for work gig 😜
I had this AMAZING grouper with clams, mussels, mashed potatoes, sautéed greens and a pale ale sauce at Tap@1918 for dinner. And they had kombucha! 😍
With all of the traveling, I ate like crap the last 2 days so it felt great to eat something fresh and delicious!

Can I just give a huge shoutout to @tonywrobs and the AWESOME going-away dinner that he made for me? 😍
Having such an amazing husband makes it so much harder being away from home. I’m just trying to treat this trip like a workcation, enjoy myself a bit and then in 2 sleeps I’ll be back home! 🤘🏻

Rome wasn’t built in a day. And in the same way, undoing bad habits takes time. I know my body isn’t going to change very much in a day, a week, heck maybe even a month! I’m at peace with that. Every positive change and step towards a healthier fitter body is a step towards the larger goal.

This morning I woke up with intentions to workout at 5:30am, needless to say that didn’t happen. 🤦🏾‍♀️
I blame my allergy medicine 🤧😪. My hay fever is taking me out these days. Oh well... plans changes so I will have to make time today to get my 30 mins in.
PEOPLE! Just because you missed your workout this morning doesn’t mean you can’t WORK it back into your schedule! Hahaha see what I did there! 😜Get it done!

I woke up feeling tired, cranky and just wanting to go back to bed 😴 but that was NOT an option today! I had a workout to do, coffee to drink and a full day of work ahead of me. I’ve been slacking a bit lately and there’s no room for excuses.
Do you believe in faking it until you make it, or better yet, BECOME it? I decided to dig into my alter ego, slapped a smile on and said good morning to every person I’ve seen so far today. And guess what? It’s actually making me feel better about today 😊

I just finished day 23 of the 30-day buns, guns and abs challenge! I might be super sore and a day behind, but that’s okay in my book! The old me would have quit after I missed one day 🙄One of the key things I’ve learned through all the personal development I’ve been working on is that it’s OKAY to mess up, you just can’t quit 💪🏻 Learning to look at obstacles as opportunities is tough, but it’s sooo worth it because every time you do, it gets you one step closer to your goal.
If you’re facing an obstacle right now and feeling like you want to quit, DON’T! I’m here rooting for you, and I truly believe that we can all do whatever we put our minds to! 💚

We’re hungry 😋- it’s not just me, ok, guys. I know you think all I do is eat. However this is my girl Jamie, who knows I have a crush on her 😉 (it’s not a secret) and she’s hungry too. She joined forces with me over two years ago, when our life paths were really at the same point. Newly engaged, soon to be married (were both June brides), busy working and planning for a family (she’s a mom now)... and boom, here we are- two years later, working together and sharing our journey, our goals and our NON-NEGOTIABLES for our families future!! I’ve got a stomach bug goin on but at least I’m not having any issues with these easy 3 ingredient pancakes!
🌻 1 banana
🌻 2 eggs
🌻 Young Living Cinnamon Bark Vitality Oil (or regular cinnamon)
Thats it! Mash the banana really well in a bowl, then mix in the eggs and cinnamon or Cinnamon Bark oil. Heat a skillet over medium low and coat with cooking spray or coconut oil. Use a 1/4 cup measuring cup to pour the batter. Easy as pie! My favorite way to top them is with a bunch of blueberries and Ningxia Berry Syrup 😍
