I ain't even mad about this current situation. A little extra fat in some places but new lines in other place. I'm talking hammies and glutes. Guys... GLUTE LIIIIINES. Except I'm not about to flaunt those. It's hot outside but I'm not that thirsty 🤷🏼 But This post is about more than just aesthetics.
This is the outcome of less stress. And by less stress I'm talking no more two a days. More sleep. Not stressing about missing a day at the gym or diet for that matter. And most importantly, overall HAPPINESS and improved mental health. Fun fact: I'm performing the same if not better than I was when overtraining. Let's be honest, my body does a lot for me, it's also strong as hell. I refuse to sell myself short because I'm not at 10% body fat. I'm an athlete. I want to be able to run a sub 6 min mile while still being able to lift over 300 lbs. This is all being achieved while still maintaining life balance. I'm happier than I have been in a long time. I'm at peace. However, do not mistake my contentness with settling. I train hard and I train for goals. I'm always hungry 🦁
