It's been a heck of a journey for him. Not many people knew this but he was fighting with a broken hand after he injured himself in a sparring session.

Ridiculously determined to continue with his fight he strapped up well and fought like warrior but sadly dislocated his shoulder in the second round.
...
It couldn't be relocated - which I was slightly relieved about otherwise he'd have popped it back in and probably carried on πŸ™ˆ So the fight was stopped.

Prior to that he was definitely winning πŸ™Œ

But more importantly the courage, dedication, talent and fitness he has displayed throughout the training sessions and during the fight itself makes him a great winner in my πŸ‘€'s and everyone who's been part of the journey.

We're so incredibly grateful for all the support he's received online and from everyone who travelled incredible distances to come and chant "HITMORE HITMORE!!" on the day.

πŸšΆβ€β™€οΈI move everyday. I walk, stand, stretch, clean the house, squat down to pick things up, take the stairs and make no excuses not to. Some days I take it up a gear and run with Hamish or head to the gym if I feel like it. I don't have set rules because I'm moving daily

🌦 I get outside every single day. It's the most underrated aspect of health and I'm so lucky Hamish taught me this lesson. It transforms my mood, energy and perspective on life. Just 10 minutes makes a difference πŸ‚

πŸ₯’ I eat as many vegetables as I can but don't stress if I can't. Soups, salads, smoothies, stir frys and veggie side dishes are usually on the menu, but sometimes just munching on vegetable cruditΓ©s is all I have time for, it all counts πŸ‘

❀️ I remind myself daily that I'm lucky and appreciate all that I have. Sometimes this is just a few seconds of my day to contemplate the people in my life, the experiences I've had and the fact I have food, water and a roof over my head

🍳I prepare as many of my meals at home as I possibly can. A brief period working in the food industry taught me that if you want to be truly healthy this is the best way. When eating out you should ideally recognise the ingredients on your plate as they've been around for sometime πŸ₯šπŸ₯œπŸ₯‘πŸ₯•πŸπŸ—πŸ€πŸ₯—

😴 I guard my sleep and aim for 7-8 hours. I have an eye mask, ear plugs and always read a fiction book before bed to escape my world for a moment, sometimes I only read two sentences but it definitely helps πŸ“š

πŸ“± I take regular breaks from technology and pretend it's the 1980's again, sometimes I wish it was πŸ€”

SCOTCH EGG 🍳 One of the highlights of @sfnexpo was finally meeting the @fitterfood guys as I’ve followed their recipes for ages, and trying out their amazing Scotch eggs! So I had to have a go myself today - my first attempt and the perfect runny egg still!! 😍😍 It was a delicate operation but so worth it - these used @heckfooduk pork sausages and ground almonds on the outside! ❀️

This past month or so I've gotten into brewing my own #kombucha! It's an interesting process, not complicated, and there are many benefits to drinking it.
I'm a lover of all natural probiotic things, and guess what. Kombucha is a probiotic! If you're interested in learning more about 'bucha, I suggest google! πŸ˜‰

I've heard that adding fruit can be challenging, but I gotta tell ya, adding drops of essential oils is #supereasy!
After the drink has fermented and been bottled (keep bottled for 3-7 day for carbonating), I put 1-6 drops of my fav essential oils, and let them carbonate naturally!

I love adding the oil drops not only to make it more interesting/tasty, but also to get more of my family members interested in drinking it! 🀣
