Being 9 months pregnant has been filled with little feet in my ribs, head on my pelvis, cramps, & lots of false labor contractions. Despite it all, my OB is really encouraging me to stay active these last few weeks/days. Staying active at 37 weeks pregnant is really HARD but grateful I physically can be moving again. A 5k of Run/walking was a major accomplishment for me today 🙌🏻 it blows my mind that 22 weeks ago at 14 weeks pregnant, I raced a 19:40 5k or even 5 weeks ago a 23:30 5k 😂🙌🏻🏃‍♀️it's been a wild ride these last 37 weeks."

I LOVE the holidays. Always have and probably always will. There’s just something about the joy, love, and thankfulness that just makes my heart giddy and then seeing your child get that excited is even better! I am especially excited for them this year because we will have a new bundle of joy to celebrate with!

With holidays, for many, might come dread, worry, self-consciousness, and fear. Some may worry about how they look in front of all their family or in pictures. Some may be self-conscious of the weight they’ve put on in the last year. Or maybe some may be fearful of what their family is going to say about who they’ve become. Don’t let that be you. Stop saying one day and make tomorrow DAY ONE. It’s never too late to make a change in your life. Why not go into the holiday season feeling your best, and PROUD of where you are at?!

Motivation Monday! (Ugh that sounds too upbeat for a Monday... but work Monday is over so it can be)

After a long day at work I managed to make it (just barely) to @motherhoodcenter for a fitness class. -
While I've done Yoga 🙏 there, I was new to the fitness class... and I LOVED it! In that, -I hate working out but my legs, 🍑, and arms are going to be sore tomorrow in a good way- kind of way! -
Highly recommend to any of my preggo friends to get some workouts in even if you feel like a whale 🐳, or if you ate a whole pizza 🍕🍟 and feel there's no point, or if you just want to go home and take a nap. Just get it done and you'll feel better after! 💪My motivation is I bought a monthly pass so if I don't go I basically threw away money. And I'd never throw away money! -

I'm baffled at how different each of my pregnancies have felt. This one, for sure, has me feeling way more off balance and unstable on my feet at an early stage! Oh, baby, Mama will get this done anyways...it doesn't always look pretty or feel strong, but I know I'm getting stronger just by taking the time. 💪🏽❤️👊🏽 Short, but sweet, and shaky yoga workout complete with silly inversion practice 😜❤️🙃

Oh yeah!! I'm now trying to figure out how to lift while pregnant!🤰🏼 If anyone has any tips lemme know!📩 My first doctor suggested aerobic exercise only😒 needless to say I have switched doctors😅 #babybuilder

Baby girl is the size of a cantaloupe now, and I can tell 😉 But we are still going strong as we enter our final weeks of this pregnancy journey!

I remember being pregnant with Lilly and wondering, “How do moms do this pregnancy thing AND keep up with a toddler?!” Well, you just do 😊 And if I do say so myself, moms are pretty amazing at a lot of things so growing a human while raising another is just one of our many superpowers.
I’m still able to keep up with my daily workouts (thank goodness) because they definitely help my daily back/pelvic pain at this point. They’re not intense by any means, a lot of modifications and water breaks, but they get my body moving and stretch my muscles and that’s just what I need at this point 👌🏼 #34weekspregnant

5 weeks post partum and 2 weeks into the #tiu21 challenge and I'm seeing some improvements. Can't do much in the way of exercise yet, but will hopefully cleared soon. Have been doing light arm weights and can see a little bit of a change there. Happy that it's going to continue into a second run... We have been very blessed with two children who LOVE to sleep at night. But both of them were/are horrible nappers. We let Maggie work it out herself and she became awesome at naps when she started sleeping on her belly. With Jimmy it’s been hard to hold him all day for naps because we have Maggie to chase around. We decided to invest in a Baby Merlin’s Magic Sleepsuit. We’ve had it for less than 24 hours and it is the BEST THING EVER!! 🙌🏼 I highly recommend this!! .

You guys I can’t say it enough, when your hiding behind clothes, feeling “not so great” it pays a toll on your relationship.
It’s hard to love someone else, to feel good about your relationship and not have the jealousy issues when your insecure in your self >>>> I know this because I use to be that girl who felt insecure. ⏰ 30-45 minutes a day is our time.
To cheer each other on.
To push each other.
To support each other.
To build each other’s self esteem.
To commit to being around for years to come.
