Day 6 is done! You’re not always going to love every workout and today’s wasn’t one of my faves! BUT I still gave it my all and got it done 👊🏻👊🏻 I used to always doubt my push-up abilities and I didn’t think 🤔 I would be able to do spider pushups when they came up. Today’s victory was that I did them all with proper form. Almost☝🏻 week through and I’m already seeing my strength improve 💪🏻

Never too old or early for a cookie time 🍪
The weekends are a time of growth a time to find what you love and who you love. Each day we have away from “the real world” and working and school is a day for us. We have the chance to fill those times and moments with what we truly enjoy and cherish. There is no reason we should try and push ourselves to work day in and day out. We should always make time for breaks and making ourselves smile.
For me that was running a hot chocolate 5k with friends this morning. It has been awhile since I have been able to exercise or move my body outside dude to the cold. It felt so nice and empowering to run for fun and not to try and earn any food or burn calories. Was I the fastest? No way did I care? Not one bit.
Take time to do things that are fun and actually focus on enjoying that moment. I could’ve just been freaking out about sweating the most or being the quickest, but instead I focused on making my abs hurt from laughing so hard and taking crazy pictures with friends.
It’s okay to enjoy moments and never feel guilty for not “pushing yourself” all the time because I think pushing yourself means stepping out of your comfort zone. For many of us that is actually appreciating the moment instead of being so caught up in our heads. So breathe a little and do something with friends or by yourself because you deserve a break.
