Happy Friday 💛
Breaking the rules and posting a transformation photo on Friday. The first photo is May 2017 and the second photo is yesterday. I've lost about 15 pounds since the first photo and over 7 pounds in just the last 6 weeks!
I don't necessarily focus on the scale too, too much but seeing it goes down makes me so proud. I couldn't figure out for the longest time why I wasn't losing the weight, in fact, I was gaining weight. It was frustrating.
I started tracking my meals, drinking less (although I don't drink a ton anyway), consistently training 6-7 times a week, stopped making excuses, and started drinking water A LOT. (Most of these changes I started in the beginning of this year) Your life doesn't have to completely change for your body to change, but tiny changes can go a long way! I had birthday cake, mimosas, and snacks all last weekend but I had done so well up until then that I still lost weight this week. You can still live while trying to be a little bit healthier!
What's on the scale doesn't have to be a priority for you and it's definitely not for me, but it's something that helps me measure my progress! I'm proud of my progress so far and I'm excited to see where I go 🌻
