Being artsy in an art room; reawakening my creativity! 🤓⚡️🎨 Do you remember as a child all those magical times loosing yourself in your imagination? You could become anything you wanted & there were infinite possibilities. Your freedom & joy wasn't blocked by logic. Whatever was going on in your life you could escape it all through the creative, imaginative world you created for yourself. Sadly, as we become adults we allow "reality" to get in the way & we allow our thinking to get into a rut - creativity & imagination are a thing of the past. Some of us are lucky enough to exercise our creative muscles through work or hobbies but for many, that creative muscle goes unused & quite possibly leading to boredom. But that doesn't have to be the case, here are some tips below to re-ignite your creativity. 💫⚡️💫⚡️💫⚡️💫 .
Try something you've never eaten before, whether you like it or not doesn't matter, you're opening yourself up to new experiences.
Take an hour or two each week to rediscover creative pursuit - knitting, painting, drawing, book clubs, dancing, playing an instrument, photography......
MEDITATE - regular meditation can be surprisingly effective in relaxing both part of our brains - the creative part & the logic part to work in harmony with each other. Btw, we are all capable of meditating, it doesn't have to be so complicated (I will do a post about meditation later)
Try silence. This can be scary for some, the idea of being alone with our own thoughts for company is frightening & we often run away from silence. But silence creates the space for true creative thinking. 👊🏼
