“I’m bulking”

I’m still lean, but I’m bulking.

That’s confusing. It truly is.

If you’re not a competitor, you probably feel kinda hurt but us “off season” peeps talking about gaining weight- yet we are still lean.

I’m 15+lbs above stage weight. So relatively, I am bigger.
ITS ALL RELATIVE.
That’s the main point here. You truly can’t look at me (or my swaggy and impressive friend @desb___ ) and think that this is normal. We have been manipulating our diets and bodies. And while we still look freaking great at “heavier” weights, we also know how we want our bodies to look when we step on stage.
I would just personally like to bring more awareness to this and have open conversation about this. As competitors, we are hard on ourselves (aren’t we all?) - and sometimes our visions for ourselves could be triggering or possibly offensive to others.
I don’t think I’m fat, I don’t think I’m huge, but I am a different size than I was a few months ago.

I’m bulking.
What are your thoughts on this subject?
