SO I started my @alexia_clark program in January, but I was sick in between and was down for a month hence only 8 weeks of fitness. ⠀
For those who wonder:

I do only 3 @alexia_clark workout per week at HOME because that’s all I can handle for now. ⠀
I don’t do any extra cardio nor HIIT at the gym. However, my life is pretty active. I walk my kids to school and I walk them home - that take about 40 min each day except weekend.

I consume 2300 + calories /day. I eat 70 % healthy and 30% soul food. I could probably make it 80/20 but I love sweet more than I love abs so 😁. ⠀
This program has been so much more than I expected, the support, the team, the strength - I am a happy bean. TOTALLY RECOMMENDABLE 😍. ⠀

Baby proof your body part 2/3 - we assume bed is positioned against a wall

Day-to-day living with babies and toddlers can cause a lot of physical wear and tear—shoulder pain, neck tightness, tension headaches, knee pain, and lower back stiffness.

To pick your baby up off a bed or out of a crib, your first impulse would be to bend over and pick the baby up. The better way to do it would be to get as close to the baby as you can and then pick the baby up. That would put a lot less stress on the wrists, shoulders and lower back.

If you're picking up your baby from the floor by leaning over, you're putting terrible strain on your lower back and stressing your wrists and shoulders unnecessarily. So a better way to pick up your baby off the floor would be to come all the way down to the floor on your knees, and then support the baby's neck and back, bring the baby close to your body, and then stand up.

Another great tip given to me by one of my followers is that if you suffer from prolapse you should kegel before you lift up your baby.

It’s so easy to lose sight of what is truly important in life..

....I hope I’m not the only one that is a little bit OFF and weak mentally when sleep is scarce.

Life happens and by the end of Friday,I found myself spending time on things that does not really add any value to my life. I let negativity rent space in my mind and let noises drown my energy. ⠀
I let it distract my focus and steal my precious time - time that I normally would spend on studying or creating laughter with loved ones. ⠀
Remember - Things will always happen out of our control, when that occur and I know it is HARD! Try distant yourself from
the situation. ⠀
By stepping away from a trying situation, we can see it from another angle and gain different perspectives. Often, we realize how unimportant and even how small our problems are and what we are going through is not so bad anyway. ⠀
Very grateful my husband are home, so I could get some sleep and regain control of my own mind 💪 and set my priorities straight again. ⠀
Spent the weekend making memories and creating baking traditions with my kids. They even allowed me to film them 😍earlier. ⠀⠀

Nothing really beats a good sweat session at the gym - for me at least.

But life happens and going to the gym is not always easy for moms with 👶 . Also, many of us Mothers don’t even have access to a fitness studio.

However, even if you don’t have a gym membership or a lot of time to spare... a little bit here and there is really better then nothing.

Let’s play with some numbers :

30 squats x 4 days/week = 120 squats per/week
that is 480 squats per month
which is 5760 SQUATS per year more than a person who believe if I cannot go beast mode there is no point!

What I did today

1️⃣ squats row x 20
2️⃣ single leg squats row x 20
3️⃣ rows x 25
4️⃣ lunges with high knee x 20

I did only One round and you can just do body squats and lunges if you don’t have a trx . Video is speed up. #5monthspostpartum

People say do what you love, so I visited my creative corner today and made this fun mommy video - it's my therapy ❤️ after a stressful day.

Lately, I found myself spending too much time in my pajama...not intentionally, but almost everyday since Olivia was born I have lived in my pj until after lunch because well baby and kids happened.

But two weeks ago after my neighbor rang the doorbell and caught me in my pj.. I felt a tat embarrassed, just being honest, so I have since made an effort to change the moment I wake up.

I Didn't expect to feel any different because I already do sports, but I did! I have been feeling less sluggish and more motivated to attack my to do list earlier.

I Even had less moments of baby blues!

So mama, sometime just putting your hair up and getting out of your Pj helps lift your mood ❤️. And you don't have to go beast mode in order to feel good! A little bit fitness here and there is enough to keep them stress bug at bay 💕.

Kept things light today with pots and pans since my whole body is still sore from exercises from the beginning of the week.
This will properly be my last real workout for the next two week since kids just started their summer break today at 3 pm 😱. This reminds me to go and buy more coffee 😜😜.
