Back in Perth and ready to smash my goals again... starting on Monday 😜 Although I love Sydney I'm definitely more of a Perth girl. Good morning from sunny (lol) Melbourne! 🌞using the time away from the gym to get some cardio in (50 minute walk to work) 🐾 every bit counts! It's definitely ok to take rest days, and I take them weekly. But I really do love how I feel after a workout, training isn't always about #gains it really helps me mentally too 🌼. As always, I watch this and see all of the things i could have done better...posture, camera angle, technique, etc ... however, the most important thing is that I had an idea and I made it come to life as best I could on my first try. I thought about to re-shoot and improve upon the concept with everything I learned, but part of my videos is to always post me and my process in it's most real state. I'm ok posting things that are not perfect because life is not perfect. I want to be able to grow everyday and I'm comfortable with you watching it in hopes that you will be inspired to give yourself permission to grow and push yourself. 🙏🏼❤️ .

I’ve got a super busy work schedule coming up & sooo many early mornings 😴 so obviously being the #planningprincess that I am I’ve fit all my workouts around work & given myself two rest days in a row! This is probably sad to admit but I’m actually going to miss the gym the next two days buuut at least I’ll be ready to smash another week come monday!

TODAY marks the final day of full time work in Brizzle and wow how it's gone fast!!! But I've picked up some TOP TIPS for office workers: (because in my opinion it's much easier to be healthy as a student)👩🏻‍🎓
1️⃣Take the stairs (on a high floor, get off a stop early and walk the rest)🚶‍♀️🚶
2️⃣Don't give in to cake ❌🍰(well not all the time... it's okay every now and then!)
3️⃣Bring in healthy snacks to resist the temptation for a cake or biscuit 🍓🍇🍎🍒🍌
4️⃣Cut down on coffee, mint tea is a good alternative when you fancy a drink❌☕️✅🍃🍃
5️⃣Be organised with your lunches and pack the night before, or choose the healthier options; save the burgers and chips for #FATFRIDAY ✨😏
6️⃣Go for a walk on your lunch breaks... even if it's only for 10 mins to stretch your legs and keep yourself moving ... I LOVE WALKS and getting some fresh air ☺️
7️⃣Take regular breaks away from the computer, even just to stand for a little while ❌💻
8️⃣Consider gymming in the morning rather than after work when you're tired/may end up staying late 😴😴
9️⃣Sign up for work socials and activities especially those that are sport related... if your workplace doesn't have anything like this consider taking the lead and getting something organised!🤔

I am well aware that a lot of people call me skinny. Well, this skinny girl eats a LOT! I will be soon putting up a ‘What I eat in a day post’. Now, my goals are different. I am trying to put on muscle mass. On the other hand, if you are trying to lose weight, I would suggest keeping a watch on your carbs.

Coming back to the topic, this is a regular dinner plate that I have in two servings, spread out in one-two hours. Sorry about the shabby plating because sometimes aesthetics can take the back seat.

I see a lot of people around me, even some of my closest friends, starving in order to shed some extra kilos. Although I try hard to educate them, I fail miserably and I feel really sad.

I am not against planned fasting or an IF diet. But I am certainly against STARVATION!
You are putting your body under a lot of stress, if you are not eating at all. When I see certain so-called nutritionists asking people to go on a green tea diet or an only banana diet, I lose my calm.

The thing is, you can’t stop eating. Your food is your fuel and it is the most necessary aspect of staying fit. Have a diet plan according to your goals, and EAT! Don’t ditch your meals.

A good nutritionist would never ask you to stop eating. They might suggest you a certain diet but will never ask you to drink green tea or a banana for a week.
.
Anyone and everyone can meet their goals, the key is to EAT right and to pay no heed to bogus nutritionists.

Ok did require a little rocket fuel this morning but after Derran supplied this I started a new climb in kilos! Not an all time PB but a PB for recent times AND a chat with another coach of mine & world leader in biomechanics, Martin Haines has started to erase a bad habit after my second pull position. Am I weird for wanting those little bruises on my upper thigh/hip that happen when you really start getting that phase nailed ...?!?!

Lifting weights has taught me that my self worth isn't in my weight, but instead in my strength. It doesn't matter what number is on the scale. What matters is if I've pushed my body past the limits that I thought I once had. I'm constantly bettering myself and becoming more comfortable with my self and my own power. On days when I start to stumble and become unsure of myself, I remember how much stronger I am than my emotions. Lifting has taught me that there is nothing that I can't handle. There is a high that I get after a day of lifting that can last through out the day and I find myself itching to get back into the gym as soon as possible. .

Neue Runde neues Glück – nachdem bereits der ProteinBar in Schokolade verspeist wurde, folgt nun BANANAAA.
Treue Leser wissen, dass Banane nicht mein Lieblingsaroma bei Supplementen ist – deshalb bin ich schon mal ein guter Kritiker 😂

Der Riegel ist eine Kopie der Schokoladenvariante. Ein kleiner rechteckiger Block umhüllt in Schokoladenglasur. Im Innern jedoch verbirgt sich diesmal eine helle gelbliche Masse – diese gewohnt knatschig wie es typisch ist.
.Geschmack 
Wie gesagt Banane ist nicht meins – frische Bananen noch weniger. Das reine Aroma geht gerade noch so 😅 die Masse vom ProteinBar bzw das gesamte Erlebnis erinnert mich total an eine kleine Nascherei von damals – kennt jeder das einem sofort Assoziationen hoch kommen oder?
Der Riegle schmeckt genau wie die Gelee Schokobananen vom Discounter. Genau das gleiche Aroma. Die Kombination von Schokolade und dem Banenenaroma passt wie die Faust aufs Auge. Echte Banenenliebhaber werden enttäuscht sein – es ist keine frische echte Banane – aber genau das ist der Punkt wieso der Riegel sogar Mir schmeckt. Etwas künstlich – süße vorhanden aber nicht penetrant. Für alle Geleebananen Fans eine Empfehlung Wert. .

Fazit „GeleeSchokoBanane“ mehr braucht es eigentlich nicht um den Geschmack des Riegels zu beschreiben. Man muss es mögen, dass das Aroma künstlicher ist, aber genau dass wollen manche. Ansonsten verschiedene Proteinquellen und die Nährwerte bewegen sich im Mittelmaß. Keine absolute Sensation aber allein die Sorte ist nahezu einzigartig auf dem Riegelmarkt
