When you go to MAC at 8am barefaced and get your lips done all so you can take a selfie with their ring light 💡🤳🏼 I LOVE travelling! But one thing I’ve missed is my workout routine and food. I eat a really balanced diet and I’m working on prioritising foods which make my body work best. Sometimes when I travel I feel like the foods I eat aren’t the best for my body, so this morning when I woke up to my favourite breakfast: overnight oats, I was so excited. Not only do they taste amazing but I know they always give me energy for the day.

It's hard to cook during med school, but these crock-pot freezer meals are clutch. They're easy to make and last up to 3 months in the freezer. 💛Meatball vegetable soup: 1lb meatballs, 1 jar of pasta sauce, 1lb carrots, 3 cups green beans, 2 zucchinis, 1 diced yellow onion. Cook on low with 4 cups of chicken broth for 8hrs.
💛Pot roast with green beans: 2lbs boneless beef chuck (fat trimmed), 1lb green beans, 1 packet of onion soup mix. Cook on low with 1 cup of water for 8hrs and shred beef with a fork.
💛Chicken Chili: 1 chopped yellow onion, 1 can black beans, 1 can cannellini beans, 2 cans diced tomatoes with green chilies, sliced peppers (red, green, & yellow), 2/3 cup frozen corn, 4 cloves minced garlic, 1 Tbs paprika, 3 tsp chili powder, 2 tsp ground cumin, 1.5 tsp oregano, 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes, 1lb chicken breasts cut into 1 inch pieces. Cook low 10-12 hours.
💛Chicken fajitas: Sliced peppers (red, green, and yellow), 1 sliced yellow onion, 2 cloves minced garlic, 1 Tbs honey, juice from 1 lime, 1 Tbs chili powder, 2 tsp cumin, 1 tsp paprika, 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes, 1lb sliced chicken breasts. Cook low 4-8hrs.
💛Party pork: 2-3lb pork shoulder, 1 cup grape jelly, 1 cup ketchup, 1/4 tsp ground allspice. Cook low 8-12hrs.
