I wish I was working out right now😞
Because right now I'm sitting at the orthopedist's office waiting for my mom to pull the car around because I'm crippled.
And will be for 10 more weeks.
Friends, I have broken my 5th metatarsal.
Something called a jones fracture for anyone who cares.
And I have to have surgery.
On Wednesday.
And tbh I'm kinda freaking out because I've never broken a bone and I've never had surgery so
At least I'll get a cool little scooter to wheel my bum foot around.
Working out is going to have to be the last thing on my mind. Will give me time to work on a secret project I've been flirting with recently.
I'll keep y'all updated, babes.

When you visualize your goals, do you measure up what defeat might feel like or do you just focus on winning and achieving them even if things might seem impossible? For me, no matter what I'm doing I see things as 50/50. Either you're going to succeed or you won't. It might sound silly but I apply this to everything. Even when I buy a lottery ticket that has a "1 in a million" shot of winning the jackpot. To me, it's still 50/50. Throughout my life this has help me push through the impossible because the weight of failure never seems to heavy for me to push through. I suggest that if you're working to better yourself, your career or your family that you take a page out of my book and either GET IT DONE or don't. Success is a choice and if you can't convince yourself of this you will always fail. ----------------------------------------------------

#Day09 #MESS 👻 Slowly getting back something to actually flex 💪🏽Last week my workouts were all on track and eating clean..... this week I don't know what's going on 🤷🏼‍♀️ It's only Tuesday though so all is not lost.... Today I've signed up for a half marathon in October with my bestie. She checks on me every other day to make sure I'm not letting it all go to crap 💩 She's a 😇 I haven't done any serious running since June so I have some work to put in over the next 8 or so weeks -I'm scared to count exactly how far off it is 😬. Hoping my legs still remember all those km's from a few months back. Might be time to jump on the spin bike again 🚴‍♀️ This may become my fittest year yet with our 100km walk coming up early next year. This challenge for me is about getting my grit back after a crappy couple of months.
