Haven’t posted a full workout in a couple days. Mostly due to the fact we’ve been doing some house projects this week and also because my joints have really been aching/going numb, swelling, etc :( I literally can’t grip things fully due to how much discomfort is in my joints/wrists. I’m pretty sure I’m getting carpal tunnel which is apparently common during pregnancy.
Now I’m not normally one to just give up or anything, but my body needs a little break. It is definitely frustrating having these symptoms flare up being someone who has focused so much attention and priority to fitness in general, but overall health/recovery is the most important, especially with baby still cooking in the belly. So this is some stretching I was doing earlier in the 2nd trimester, I plan to stick to more stretching/yoga/bodyweight movements until this side effect gets better, if it doesn’t, then ill stick with these movements until baby is born :) as long as I’m staying active in SOME form, I’m happy with that!
