Jumping on the #transformationtuesday bandwagon - here's my progress since my 25th birthday last august.
I'd been training for years but not making any real progress, went through cycles of being super strict vs eating all my feelings. Right after this photo something happened in my personal life that made me feel so, so small and I stopped eating for weeks, dropped half a stone and it took me months to get myself back on track.
I've only really been consistent with training since mid December but I've never seen more progress than I have in the last 8 weeks thanks to @gracefituk. I'm in the best shape I've ever been in and the gym is one of the best parts of my day.
Working on my own goals is cathartic, it's empowering and it's reminded me how to love myself again. I've been happy at my biggest and happy when I'm slimmer - I think sometimes these kind of photos can be counter productive because they can infer that the 'after' pic is they key to happiness which is absolutely not true - I've been ridiculously happy in life and in myself at my biggest, too.
For me what this represents is a decision to make my self care an absolute priority for the sake of my mental and physical wellbeing, and I'm so excited to see what the next 8 weeks hold! ❤️
