Today is day ONE of our third round of this program. After a brief 2 week hiatus, we were both just feeling off and knew we needed to commit to something that would keep us energized and focused on our goals. I’m up about 4 lbs from when I finished the program the first time, and part of that I’m sure is lifting heavy the last two weeks, but I also am fully admitting my nutrition has not been great the last week or so. I’m feeling run down, tired, unmotivated and blah and I know that has an exact correlation to how I’m fueling my body. We have a BUSY 3 weeks ahead between Knoxville, UGA/Vandy weekend, Athens & a wedding, but all it takes is a little discipline and focus to stay on track with our goals. I’m not promising 100%, but I am promising to make it a priority to put my health first.
This is a JOURNEY and I’ve been doing it long enough now to recognize when I’m starting to self-sabotage and let my emotions take over. We’re all human and I certainly don’t always have it all together. Just take it one day at a time!
