Bodyfat scan today.... good news is I'm all in proportion and in healthy or better in all respects! I've been hitting the gym 4.30am everyday this week to get my usual 1hr weights in plus 30mins HIIT or Steady cardio, that with my new calorie deficit i am down 6kg in 9 days and feeling very tight and dry again! My goal is looking very achievable now although changed slightly for the better i now have 8-10kg fat to lose in 12 weeks to hit my 12-14% Bodyfat goal! Feeling very 'Full' ending week 8 of my bulk, struggling mentally seeing the fat start to go on even though I'm exactly where i planned to be to hit my lbm goal... I'm just hoping to stick to these last 4 weeks so i can drop this bodyfat asap!!! BULK OVER!! .... Made it to 9 weeks for my bulk and gained 6.1kg, Coming from obese a few years back i can't mentally handle gaining any fat, although it is very minimal in my face & hips I'm aware i have approximately 7-9% (8-11kg) BF to lose by Christmas to hut my goal so I've called it! It will be a very intense 14 weeks with my early morning lifting sessions 5 days a week with added 45 minute night cardio session 5-6 days! That along with restricted calories I'm sorry in advance to anyone who has to deal with me! Start of week 8 on current bulk, gained 5.3kg so far! Happy that is mostly LBM at this stage although my head is playing a few tricks on me with the scales again.. only 5 weeks left then i have 10 weeks to lose 9kg of fat to hit my goal!!! Weigh in start week 7! Was a little pissed off only gaining 0.5kg in 2 weeks until i got out my fat calipers & tape measure! I've managed to lose just under 1% bodyfat meaning I'm still lucky enough to be burning fat and building lean mass at the same time every now and again!! If you're lucky😂 Weigh in 4th week..... gained 2.5kg so pretty satisfied that is majority lean muscle! I'm actually enjoying eating 4200cal a day this time round! Having my trainer completely change my routine every 2 weeks and having me pulling up sore every workout is really making it happen i think! Leg day tomorrow morning, very excite! I remember my first meeting with my trainer over 1 year ago....i said that I'm just looking to build my upperbody not fussed to about my legs. He said ok, first session legs! I've been doing legs twice a week every week. Haha I'm glad he did i love legs and have seen the most improvement to date in my legs!! Forearm progress... these were the arms nurses HATED unable to find veins, now they are starting to pop out all on their own! I'll be honest I never thought of forearms getting defined... I always seem to "find" these areas at the perfect time just when my enthusiasm starts to drop a little! It's exactly 1 year since i started lifting under the instruction of a personal trainer and although the progress is slow I've managed to keep fat off while building muscle! I think adverts like these really give you unrealistic expectations and set the weak up to fail!! (ok not this one but you know what i mean) you really have to look back at that prick in the mirror saying asking what are you even doing, why is it taking so long!?
