Official last day of Masters Hammer and Chisel. πŸ€—πŸ€— I'm excited because Hammer power was my favorite workout the entire program !! Doing that one handed clean press jerk has been my "conquer" move. I did it AND with 25's πŸ’ͺ🏾πŸ’ͺ🏾. The fact that I just did this workout in front of a bunch of men's with big ole muskels at the gym was a challenge in itself!! So for the next 3 weeks I will be doing Masters Hammer and Shaun week workouts because I love the combo.
ALSO, what I realized when I did the burpee challenge is some of the workouts I do seem to be "unablebabel" (it's a real word today) because people are unaware there is a modification for all moves. Many of you thanked me for showing the modifications and others were unaware of the different options. So from here on out I will do a move and a modification so that you guys can do it with me regardless of your fitness level.

You are capable of anything you put your mind to. Our brains are programmed to find the negative in every situation. To keep us "safe". You have to learn when that doubt it actually doing you more harm then good. I always say I have the "fuck it" personality. If I like an idea or a task, I jump on, deal with the outcome later. It's actually kind of scary at times. But most times I'm happy I did. If you feel like you can't do these workouts, you have talked yourself out of reaching out for motivation, then kick those doubts. I too thought I was going to struggle with this. Every day I train my brain how to think about every situation. Don't let self doubt stop you from ANYTHING! All the best things are on the other side of that fear ❀️

Sometimes people will say to me: "You look really fit!" I always thank them, but I want to correct this misconception.

There is no such thing as looking fit.

You can't look at someone and know how strong they are, their endurance level, whether they can run a mile or lift a car over their heads. It's a combination of genetics, body type, and how much and how intensely they work out. But fit comes in all shapes and sizes.
Society has taught us that thin=fit, and it's simply not true. It is for some people. When I started eating right and working out, I lost 30 lbs and settled into my happy place. And I don't think there's anything wrong with using exercise and food to achieve an aesthetic goal either. I'm going after that 6 pack myself πŸ˜‰And of course there are visual signs of fitness, but sometimes they only appear on bodies that are genetically predisposed to show them.
So just remember, you at your fittest will look different from me at my fittest, and that's a good thing. Don't judge that person eating a plate of fries because you think they aren't fit because of how they look. Maybe they eat healthy 90% of the time and this is indulgence day. Maybe they could pick you up and throw you 50 feet. Maybe they just started their journey and are having a last meal!

Never mess with a girl that does burpees for fun! ;) ❀️ I can't tell you how long it took me to finally realize I needed to take action on my life. To start working out, and stick to it. To eat healthy, and stick to it. What I can tell you is when change came.
I followed a Beachbody coach for 6 months before I decided "what the hell, what do I have to lose?" I made this decision after putting on 20+ inches of body fat over the winter. After having major anxiety attacks over the holidays. After suffering from seasonal depression.
Jan 8th, I took my first measurements and started my Beachbody program. I felt better just for commiting and finishing the 3 week program, 21 Day fix extreme. So I did it again. Many inches were lost. Confidence boosted. Energy restored. I went on to Shaun T's T25. It was then that the internal transformation happened. I was happy, confident and stronger. This wasn't something that was going to be short term with me, I knew that. So I became a coach. To share this with others going through the same thing as me. If you can relate to this let's chat!
