FINALLY made some time to pole today. I've been super busy and slacking. I'M SO GLAD I DID! Sometimes I'm in a funk that I can't explain, or don't even notice. Then I take a new yoga class, have coffee with a friend, pole, and I remember how good I can feel.
Take some time and do something that makes you feel good. It is worth it. I feel motivated and ready to finish the week strong tomorrow.

Holy cardio batman.. Clean pull + Clean + jerk (3+1+1) at 80% (110) x 2. It was 3 sets at 50,60 and 70% prior. Then all the clean block pulls 2x 10 at 70%, 3x 8 at 80%, 2x6 at 90% and a final set of 5 at 100+% (140 kg). Had some good fs reps at 140 later, which was very surprising and a top single at 150 (womp womp). @wicked.pull with the strap save tonight. Blessed.

**starting over for the week** As I said in this mornings post, it's been a rough week. Physically j haven't felt great, sleep has sucked, and I think I've had a headache for going on 4 days now. I let it wear me down. I let other things things that shouldn't have been as big of a deal as they were pile on top, and I got buried for a few days. Stuck in my head. What changed? Tangibly...very little. What changed was I decided after a couple days enough was enough. I'm lucky to have some amazing friends that help me be positive (**clears throat**@kayteecarter ) and an amazing wife (@elonsway03) that puts up with my shit day in and day out. .

That all being said, I had started the third time through of this programming on Sunday with Back and Delts, but after taking 3 rest days, and for my own sense of mental order, I did that again today, a sort of reset, starting fresh. Took me awhile to really get into it, but once i did, game over.

Sumo deadlift - Here's a great alternative to the conventional deadlift for people who don't have the greatest hip mobility. Due to the wider stance, it requires less depth to get down to the bar. Also, it becomes more hamstring dominate.
