➡️Os deltoides são compostos 50% de fibras de contração RÁPIDA e 50% fibras de contração LENTA, portanto, você deve treiná-los com altas cargas e poucas repetições (70-80% de 1RM entre 6-12 reps) e cargas mais baixas com um número maior de reps (50-60% de 1RM entre 12-25 reps).
➖➖➖
➡️A ordem de PRIORIDADE do seu treino de deltoides deve ser: Posteriores, Mediais/Laterais e Anteriores/Frontais. Os deltoides anteriores já são solicitados basicamente em todos os exercícios de peitorais, portanto precisam de menos estímulo em um treino direcionado para ombros. O desequilíbrio entre as cadeias anteriores e posteriores dos ombros pode levar a algum tipo de enfraquecimento e consequente lesão, e quase sempre isso acontece pela diferença no volume de treino de cada feixe muscular. Muito exercício para a “parte da frente” e pouco para “a de trás”.

➡️The shoulders are made up of 50% fast twitch and 50% slow twitch muscle fibers, which means that they can be trained with both heavy weight and low reps (6-12 reps at 60-80% of your 1RM) as well as light weight and high reps (12-25 reps at 50-60% of your 1RM)
➖➖➖
➡️The PRIORITY of your shoulder workout should be: Posterior, Medial/Lateral and Anterior/ Front. Front delts are already recruited for most pectoral exercises, so they need less stimulation in a shoulder oriented workout. The imbalance between the anterior and posterior chains of the shoulders can lead to some kind of weakening and consequent injury, and this is almost always due to the difference in the training volume of each muscle bundle. Too much for the “front side” and too little for the “back side”.

➡️Use as much tools as possible to build your shoulder routine: dumbbells, bars, machines, cables and bands. Each has its unique characteristic and you can even combine them.
