Are you looking for a simple change up for your workout? If so, these two lifts are a must try. πŸ‘ŒπŸ»

EXERCISE 1: Seal Row

A chest supported row calls for less bodily involvement and compensation. When your feet are taken out of the equation, it eliminates the bodies ability to use momentum from your lower half. Gravity pulls downward, so you will fighting against it. This puts the body in a perfect horizontal row position while removing stress off the lower back.

Grabbing the barbell with a pronated grip, about shoulder width apart, begin to row upward toward your midsection while contracting your lats. Make sure to engage and squeeze your shoulder blades at the top.

Perform this for 3-4 sets of 12-15 reps for a good pump.

EXERCISE 2: Kneeling-Banded Lateral Pull Down

Start in a kneeled position, this allows for optimal core activation while reducing the risk of excessive lumbar extension.

By using resistance bands, we are changing the lat pull down into a stricter movement while keeping the proper range of motion for optimal lat activation. As you bring the elbows down, keep the chest up and drive the elbows until you feel a full muscular contraction. Return back to the start but do not allow your shoulders to disengage.

Perform this exercise for 3-4 sets of 12-15 reps.
