Life comes with countless first time experiences that one will look forward to, my weekend was one such. My #firsttrek to Perikestolen (Pulpit rock) in Stavanger, Norway. .
It is an almost 3000+ metres trek climbing up a 604 metre high world’s most beautiful viewing platform over looking Lysefjord. .
It was a real trek and half way through, it clearly showed that we were under prepared for the trek. Almost 45 mins. into the trek we regained confidence and did this once in a lifetime experience. The whole trek (climb and descent) took us 6 hours including the time we spent at the viewing platform clicking pics and enjoying the reward of the moderately difficult trek we had. I loved the walk through the woods, and vibe of fellow trekkers who always took an effort to motivate other on their way(guess they knew that is all we needed). . Where did you enjoy trekking the most ? . . .
