When we (Erick & I) arrived at the campsite..there are several young campers and immediately the teachers requested me to show and perform some primitive fire making skills. So, I did...using the Fire Piston by Dustin James of BushcraftTools, Ferro Rod and various tinders to start a fire. It's such an honor to perform to a fairly big crowd of bushcraft enthusiasts. I even tried teaching the camp instructors. I love this kind impromptu performance because it really test my abilities in teaching things clearly specially when all the materials that I gathered to start the fire are wet. Good thing I came prepared with Jute Twine so starting the wet bird's nest that I made wasn't too hard to ignite. "Performance is great and everything but being prepared is always what we needed to be." I thank all the British School Students and their 6 instructors for their enthusiasm and eagerness to learn. I also learn a lot from this impromptu primitive fire making skill performance. I'm so honored and proud to share it.
