“I did it!” We have 12 dressing frames for the children to practice tools for dressing and undressing themselves. And there are so many little details - buttons, snaps, zips, Velcro, knots, bows - just to name a few. These child-sized frames provide the chance to build independence in self-help skills. #wmspracticallife
Aidan has mastered his colours but I was not sure how well he knew different shades within one colour and this was the perfect way to check.
On our walk we collected only purple and yellow treasures. When we got home he played outside whilst I grabbed our colour swatches from Bunnings and quickly set this up. First we sorted them into their colour groups and then organised them from lightest to darkest.
•No Spill Bubbles• I shared this in my insta story the other day and got some great feedback, so I thought I’d share it on here so you can bookmark the idea! What a simple idea that makes your life so much easier! And kids can just focus on making bubbles, rather than having to think about holding the bottle upright too. . This is also great for developing problem solving skills & wrist extension which helps with handwriting. .
I love children’s drawings, they are just so amusing and full of potential.✨✨✨ When kids want to draw “better”, lines more straight and circles perfectly round, I have to stop myself from saying “Don’t learn to do that, that’s boring!”
'Concentration Bingo' game. $5 + postage. For ages 3+ For 2-6 players Game is complete and in good used condition.
Players each take a bingo board and then take turns choosing a picture card, if it matches a picture on your your bingo board you keep it. First to cover all their pictures calls out bingo. I love that this game can be played on two levels. You can match a pony with a pony or if you look closely you can see that one pony has a saddle and the other doesn't, so you must have the exact same pony to match on your board. Great for encouraging children to look for detail and recognise patterns. I've said for ages 3+, however Cedar (who's 2.5yrs) and I have played the simple version many times and he loves it!
Pick up in Ocean Shores. A meet up may be possible but will depend on location. And just in case you don't know, here's how it works: My aim is to post an item as often as possible with a description and price. It will be a first come first served kind of deal, that is, the first person to comment SOLD gets the item. You can comment NIL (next in line) and if sale falls through item will go to you. Please note items are also shared on Facebook so it is possible the item may sell there first. Items can be picked up in Ocean shores or posted (at buyers expense, usually around $10). If you would like me to post your item please let me know in the comments so that I can work out total cost and payment options. #kidsusedtoys#kidsbyronbay#secondhandkidsgames#educateourchildren#developinglittleminds#finemotorskills#childrenofthefuture#vintagetoysaustralia#bingo#matchymatchy
