Maaaan it’s been a hot second since I’ve taken a bro selfie 😂😂😂 I bet you guys didn’t even think I lifted anymore!!! Truth be told Iv barely been lifitng and Iv been eating like a real A~hole. I tend to be all or nothing when it comes to my fitness and well.. just about anything else I do. 😂My torn fascia in my abdomen doesn’t hurt anymore, my shoulder only hurts when I bench, and my hip is feeling pretty dang good. Wahooo!! This week was the first time I actually felt strong for a suuuper long time. I tested some liver in my bio class today, I had a great work out, got to see my long lost buddy @wretchedthoughts, and meet a new friend @fitchick_mar , now off to my psychology class. O man that amazing feeling where you’re so exhausted physically and mentally from your workout all you can do is sit down and just take in what you have accomplished...... That was tonight!!!! Did chest & back tonight and then a 13 minute run on the treadmill. I am totally wiped but feel like a million bucks..... tell me how that is possible? It is when you workout and know you just took one giant leap toward all your goals!

These legs 🏃🏽‍♀️

They have endured:
8 years of competitive track & field.
4 years of high school rugby.
3 severe knee dislocations.
2 knees without cartilage.
1 Pregnancy.
And 33.5 years of being attached to a gangly, clumsy child, teen and let’s face it, adult- who is never fully in control of all of her extra long limbs at the same time.

And yes, sure- they have some cellulite and stretch marks and post pregnancy bulgey veins (kinda varicose but not quite) and no thigh gap to speak of.
.
But today they helped see me through hitting some awesome personal goals in testing week, and I am feeling pretty chuffed with those results.
.
They, much like the rest of the body they’re attached to, aren’t prefect- but they work damn hard ✌🏽.

I had a @smart_analysis_ Body Scan through the studio on Saturday, and let’s just say- I have a long (long) way to go before I hit my goals and there are things I need to continue to change in order to get where I need to be.

Was pretty daunting to see it all there in black and white, but more than anything, super motivating.
.
Taking the EGO out of the results, facing the reality, and using it to get BETTER.
.
It is SO easy to let your ego get the better of you, I know mine gets in my way more often than I’d like to admit.
.
But the truth is: I need to get a hell of a lot fitter. I need to eat a hell of of a lot cleaner. And I need to lose a hell of a lot more weight.
.
Not negativity, but fact.
Not depressing fact, but empowering truth.
.
Working towards the end goal, one month, week, day at a time.

It's hard to find your fight🥊 right? It can be even harder still to find your motivation on a journey that seems like it's never ending.

We all struggle. Sometimes you can see it written all over someone's face😖... Sometimes it causes us to fall to our knees🙏... Sometimes you can't see🙈 it at all... I wanted to share my workout🏋 with you today to drive this point home. It's okay to struggle! We are H.U.M.A.N. We are not perfect and we never will be. It's the struggle that will make you smile😁! It is the struggle that is absolutely 💯 percent worth it! For things to change you have to change!
