Whipping into the weekend like πŸ‘ŠπŸΌ ropes are easily becoming one of my favorite exercises because of how challenging you can make them! There is a large variety of movements you can do with them and you can grade them to fit your ability! I usually do 15 seconds on of slams and whips/15 seconds off for 2 minutes. "I don't understand how you could have that much progress in 13 days...there's no way it's real" β€’β€’β€’ that's just one of the comments I received regarding my previous transformation post. And here's what I have to say about that...anything is achievable if you commit to it 100% . Hard work and perseverance leads to success and brings rewards. If you don't work hard you won't achieve your goals. Actions yield results, those results reflect whether your actions & choices are good or bad. The point of this is that lazy people will question your hard work & you should not let that make you feel bad. Woof - that workout was a doozy. I wasn't able to make it back from the racetrack to @burnbootcampveronawi in time for the athletic conditioning workout, so I asked one of my #burnsisters for the workout, modified it a little bit, and grinded it out.
3 rounds of:
30 med ball slams
.1 mile sprint
30 squats (75lbs)
.1 mile sprint
30 half burpees
.1 mile sprint
30 walking lunges (75lbs)
.1 mile sprint
30 rip 60 mountain climbers

A nice scenic hike to kick off the day. 😊 I was very pleased to notice that I never felt winded or tired at all. It feels good to be "in shape".

After a week of reflection and break from the normal routine we started our miracle mornings this AM at 430. This is gonna be amazing... Last week I read the book and today it is time to put the plan to action. We do get up early but this gives us structure and will definatly prevent us from hitting that snooze button sometimes. Snuck away to a surprisingly empty Trader Joe's for a mini #groceryhaul . Picked up 3 bags of unsweetened coconut for chicken nuggets because I was so frustrated at not finding any in bulk at Sprouts today. The sauerkraut will go with sausage and roasted veggies for lunch this week. Also, super excited for the 3 "New Items" on the bottom. #eatrealfood #lunchprep

Breaking my fast at @habitburgergrill with a BBQ chicken salad. Didn't add any dressing, but I'm sure there was plenty of sugar in that BBQ sauce. πŸ™ˆ Oh well...not ordering a cheeseburger here is an accomplishment in itself. #intermittentfasting

It took me over an hour this morning to convince myself to get out of bed and go run #ihaterunning πŸ™ƒ 3 miles at an 8:39 pace followed with 5 uphill sprints with the weighted vest on. Not the most extreme workout, but a good one for an active rest day!
Afterwards when I was taking way too many selfies in my dad's motorhome I realized something: this is the highest high I've reached in this 'journey to a healthier me' as I like to call it. This is the happiest I've ever been with my body & I'm the most confident I've ever been. This is the best shape I've ever been in, and I'm stronger than ever before. Thanks to #iifym I now have a healthy relationship with food & my nutrition habits are under control. My goals are big & my motivation is strong. Started Sunday off early (Yes! 😁) with #21dfx #UpperFix . We'll probably take a walk later today, and I might fit in another workout in the evening. I'm just very pleased to get something in this early, and now I have plenty of time to clean the house before we head out for the day. #win

Guys...I AM SO PROUD OF MYSELF!!! If you've been following me for a while, you know that nutrition is where I've really struggled in the past and have to put the most effort into now. As much as #iifym has saved me, previous negative binge eating & restrictive behaviors sometimes surface and tempt me. Yesterday by 330 in the afternoon, I had already eaten my planned dinner and macro topper, that's how hungry I was. By 6, I was hungry again. In the past, I would have said "you already ate your calories for the day," deprived myself, and then a few hours later would start drinking which would end in eating...a lot. Last night, I didn't restrict myself when I got hungry, and ate and logged my "extra" food in a controlled manner. If you look at my score card and all of those red, 100%+ numbers, you can see that I'm way over & non-compliant on my macro goals for yesterday. I may even end up having to mark non-compliant during my weigh-in with @avatarnutrition this week, but to be honest, I really don't care because I was in control. I didn't let my previous behaviors creep back.
