Heading into the 4th quarter of the year has had me thinking about money and investing lately...
Money is such a tricky little bugger.
Some people pretend they don't need it, don't want it, feel greedy if they try to chase it.
Other people are madly in love with it and don't care who knows.
Not matter where you fall on the spectrum - and chances are we've all had some warped ideas about money - there's so much wrapped up in being vulnerable, putting our work out there and then asking people to pay for it?! What?!;p
But the thing is, charging what you're worth IS investing in yourself. It's investing in your future. Heck, it's paying off debt if you've got it!
I know people often say that money negotiations are their least favorite part of making the deal, getting hired, selling their stuff.
But it doesn't have to be! Why can't it be this exciting moment where you get to ask for what you want and then make the decision to move forward or not?
Being not only debt free but having the resources to invest your money is one of the best gifts you can give yourself.
I mean imagine how much less stressed everyone would be if they weren't taking the gig to pay the bills, or worried about x,y,z because of how much it'll cost??
So this month I'm reading Jen Sincero's You Are a Badass at Making Money - love to know..
What are your favorite money books?
