OMG!!!! I'm down to 154lbs. Oh and this is the dress i bought for my 6 year anniversary, but OMG I've been stuck at like 160lbs for like ever no matter how much I exercised I'm so happy I'm finally losing weight!!! I know it's only 6lbs but I feel like I'm finally making progress.

About freaking dang time. Ive been stuck around 255-256 for like 2 weeks! Even went down it went back up so i quit sharing weight loss in fear it would just go up. Last couple days im back to losing about a pound a day. Doubt it will stay like that. I stress over losing weight. It blows my mind. If someone else say "i only lost 20lbs since surgery...blah blah" im like only! That is awesome! Celebrate your accomplishments. 20lbs here...10lbs there, it all adds up. But no! I am doing the same thing complaining about a 20lb loss. What!
This is only the 9th of October. I am down 5lbs....i have 22 more days of this month to lose weight. I could totally lose between 5 to 14 more lbs this month. Either way i win. I am 1 lb closer to being in the 230s which is significant because the last time i was there (for a split second before gaining it back) was the 1st and last time in years i felt good about myself. My face was more defined i just felt pretty.
My next big moment isn till 199. In my adult life at my best i couldnt for the life of me break 200lbs. Even at my best and i was a beast back then. I will go into that another time. And after that 195. Havent weighed that since 2 weeks after having my son. I went from the 140/150 to 226lbs in that pregnancy. I will talk about that when i get closer.....i rambled so much on this post.

I feel like I lost weight overnight! My stomach is shrinking thanks to fasting and cutting some carbs out of my diet. And drinking less fluids with sugar or in general has been helping as well! My blood pressure has been lowering as well.

If #weightloss is your goal, make sleep a priority!

Two hormones important for #appetitecontrol and weightloss are ghrelin and leptin. Ghrelin signals hunger and leptin signals a feeling of fullness.

If these hormones are out of balance, your ability to lose weight becomes pretty difficult. You can't fight a biological drive to eat. #Willpower is not going to work!

When you don't get enough sleep, you end up with too little leptin in your body, which in turn increases ghrelin and tricks your brain into thinking you're hungry. This can result in a constant feeling of hunger and a general slow-down of your metabolism, as your body stops burning calories because it thinks there is a shortage.

Lack of sleep also leads to disrupted glucose and insulin metabolism, again, making weight loss nearly impossible.

Long story short... get a good night's sleep! Aim for 7-8 hrs per night. .
