I am in week 6 of Master’s Hammer and Chisel which is more of a weightlifting program, so these dumbbells have been my best friend and worst enemy for the last 6 weeks.
Today, I found myself feeling like these things were feeling light for the first time since starting. This was a big moment for me. I don’t notice many physical changes, but by noticing non-scale victories, I know that I am getting stronger every day.
I think its so easy to get caught up in a number on the scale, but you guys….that number does NOT define you. What defines you is your effort, your will to keep pushing, and your want to be better than the person you were yesterday.
I challenge you to ditch the number of the scale and notice the non-scale victories. Notice the amazing things that your body does for you every single day and show gratitude to it. Notice the effort you are putting in to living a fit, happy, and healthy life.
Oh and just in case you forgot….you are strong. you are beautiful. You are perfectly imperfect. You are worthy of love. I hope you have an amazing day.
