Caught him as he's about to take-off from its Ficus decora ruby leaf "landing strip."
Small amount of gnats have appeared indoors recently and I'm doing pre-emptive work by having these ladybugs indoors too.
If you've ever had a gnat infestation indoors, you know how they can be a pain in the tush. If you have not, consider yourself lucky.
ℹ️: But here are some chemical-free tips:
1) Keep the soil on your plants dry up completely between watering.
2) Cider vinegar attracts them so place some half-filled small bowl around the plant with it. They'll go in for a "dive" and 💀
3) Top the soil of the infested plant with horticultural sand - keyword horticultural. You can collect sand from the beach but the saltwater in it will do no good on your plant. The sand will basically break the life cycle of the gnat.
4) As a last resort, change the soil of the plant completely if none of the above can resolve it.
