I hardly ever post about my personal opinion regarding gender equality, but due to the constant misuse of the concept of feminism. I would like to educate everyone about the meaning of true feminism, and how everyone can be a feminist.
First and foremost, feminism is a "movement to end sexism, sexist exploitation, and oppression" (Bell Hooks). It is not only about seeking workforce equality, not anti-male (there's significant amount of females that are sexist as well, and without males as allies, the movement would not progress). If you want to learn more about the movement, I highly recommend you to read "Feminism is for everybody" by Bell Hooks. (The woman that converted me into a feminist). P.S here's a pic of me trying to make the world a happier place.
