10 years ago...I always look back at this pic and remember when I first really got serious about being a producer, and my tools was that Triton and that little laptop. I didn't really know much about any software, or how to use midi, or how to plug this into that, nothing, I just had all these dope ideas for beats in my head, and I was determined to get them out.. Many times I thought to myself, what am I doing, wanting to be a producer amongst all these other amazing producers who are men, and here I am a girl, doing Hip Hop beats. I honestly felt foolish and out of place, thinking about what people would think and say..."I bet her stuff sound wack" "She don't know what she's doing" "She looks weird doing those kind of beats"...Every negative thought I could think of, but then I thought, this is what I love to do, and this is what makes me happy, so who cares how you look and what people say. Do what you love, or you'll never be happy. So I stuck with it, and don't plan on ever stopping.
That thing that you love to do, it's what God put in you to use, no matter how anybody feels about it, and until you embrace it and utilize it, it'll keep finding its way back to you, because that's how God created you. It's what makes you, YOU. 💯💯 #musicproduction #mypassion #godputitinyou #useit #femaleproducer #doyou #beyou #peace #love #happiness #throwback #flashbackfriday #producerlife 🎹🎧🖥⌨️❤️
