My goal for this meet prep was to eat at a caloric deficit using @avatarnutrition the (slow sustainable fat loss option) because I wanted to hover around 123 - 126 lbs range, so that making weight would be a smooth process. I admit there were some days that I had heavy weigh-ins during this prep because of forgetting to track things, eating out too much, or even just giving in to food because of hunger signals. Hey I'm human too🤷🏻♀️That's where remembering to look at my diet from a big-picture-perspective helped a lot. If I ate a little over my numbers on one day, I wouldn't freak out since I knew I was on track on all the other days.
