Looking back at thirteen year old me, feeling pretty thankful I don't know her anymore; that girl who wouldn't dare wear a skirt or even anything remotely form fitting.
For years, I wore nothing but baggy sweat pants and oversized t-shirts because I was so afraid of my own body. Now, I'm relieved for the confidence I have in my 20s, that I thought I'd never find.
Feeling confident and happy in your own skin is freeing. Don't ever let anyone make you feel inferior for having confidence and being bold. It's a journey that's long as hell, and we all deserve to be there.
