We drove into the night to get to Banff from Glacier. As it was my first time in Banff, arriving in darkness added to the mystery. It was pitch black out and I just kept imagining massive peaks looming in the distance. I was tempted to shoot the Milky Way, but with no sleep and knowing I had a long day of hiking on a sprained ankle ahead I decided to sleep for a few hours and just shoot sunrise. We were lucky to snag a campsite at Two Jack Lakeside so the drive to this view took all of 5 minutes. Stoked to be so close to such beautiful views, it was the perfect start to my Canada trip and a reminder of just how beautiful Canada truly is.
