Ok one of the toughest parts about strength training is removing the plates from the bar in Kansas humidity. 😂😂

But it’s also a step I make sure to show my clients...slide the plate off from the inside out. Place hand around the center hole and slide outward toward the end of the bar. 👌🏼

Much easier than yanking the plate off. 😩

Honestly, I know I'm gaining on vacation. I'm going back home to Chicago/Northern IL/Wisconsin. I plan to ENJOY food. I'll make smart choices when acceptable, but I am not going to limit myself. I plan to jump back on hardcore when I get back. But maybe that will help kick start my body again. I've been in a stall and found the last 10lbs super hard to shed. A few months ago I posted a video doing ring pull ups and noticed that I was struggling controlling my core stabilization muscles and my diastasis was protruding on the descent. So I quit doing them and went back to the floor learning to intrabdominal pressurize by thinking about spreading my belly button to brace. Not let it collapse to the front. .

Then I worked on side lying positions. And back to a supported hanging position. And today I tested an unassisted pull up on the rings and I can def tell progress is being made. 💪🏻💪🏻

Another day another puppy bootycall! He can only walk for about 20 mins at a time so i also added 20 mins on the spin bike for a total of 40 mins of cardio to start the day!
