Pies & Pints in Fayetteville will be donating a portion of dinner sales to support Active Southern West Virginia's free community programs on Wednesday, April 25th, from 5pm to 9pm.
This is a great opporunity to have a fantastic meal, show support for our regional volunteers, and spend the evening visiting with the Active SWV staff and board members.
We invite you to come enjoy dinner and support local, free community programs. ASWV programs include Community Captains leading guided hikes, outdoor yoga, Tai Chi, mountain biking, rock climbing, stand up paddle boarding, and dog walking at the humane shelter for local families who maybe new to some of these activities.
Funding also supports Active SWV Kids Run Clubs at elementary schools throughout Nicholas, Raleigh, Fayette, and Summers Counties. With 21 schools who have particiated, we are half way to the goal of our region's 42 elementary schools having a free Kids Run Club.
Active SWV continues to grow in two other programs; Bike/Walk SWV and Workplace Wellness. Both programs look at environmental and policy changes needed to improve a culture of health.
There are many ways you can get involved and we hope to see you out on April 25th for a fun and functional dining experience!
