Not only did I have my first test, I had three! 😱 If you're wondering how I ACED my first test, look elsewhere because I didn't! 😕🤷🏾♀️ Leading up to these test I was very nervous. I had been studying pretty consistently, but had no way to assess how I was doing. I was used to having quizzes and homework assignments to tell me if I was on the right track. Now I only have tests, midterms, and finals. When it came time to take my test I was extremely anxious, but I managed.
I scored B's across the board. Initially, I was upset and disappointed because I put a lot of effort into preparing for my test, and I truly felt that I had done my best. After thinking and reflecting, I realized that even though it wasn't an A it was MY BEST, and I should be proud. 🤷🏾♀️ In PA school, you really have to learn to focus less on grades. We are all the best of the best and we've made it this far. We are no longer competing for valedictorian. Our only goal is to succeed and be the best we can be for the community we will serve. Whether that means getting all A's, A's and B's, or maybe even an occasional C.... and trust me when I say, the B's and C's will be inevitable for some of us. Remember it's not always a failure it's just room to grow! 💕👑
