Some really pretty "just because " flowers my husband bought me. Yes, he also got some chocolate. Lol.

So, it finally happened. This camel found a straw that was just too much to bear. My Rheumatology appointment yesterday did not produce the results I needed, and I'm still dealing with their incompetence today. Long story short, I point-blank asked her why she put me on the Plaquenil. Her answer was, I kid you not, "a connective tissue disease." Notice I used quotation marks. That's literally what she said. That's not even sort of a diagnosis. That's a classification. She switched me from Zoloft to Cymbalta because my fibro is way out of control. I specifically told her I needed refills on the gabapentin and Plaquenil. Yesterday afternoon I got a call from the pharmacy that the Cymbalta had been filled and was ready for pickup. Not a word about the other two though. I checked this morning and they hadn't received requests for the gabapentin or Plaquenil. So I called the office and explained that she was supposed to send requests but that the pharmacy never received them. She said she'd take care of it right away. Fast forward to the end of the business day and they still haven't received the requests. So now I'm going to have to get in with a practice that's TWO HOURS away in Hershey, PA because that's apparently the only way I'm going to get competent care. And who knows how long it will take to get an appointment with them. I'm so over this! Rant over 😊
