One thing that I get asked a lot is what I eat on the daily, and honestly it depends on my mood that day. However, I always always alwaysss have bacon and eggs for breakfast πŸ˜›πŸ˜ I get the non GMO certified humane bacon from @wholefoods as well as @vitalfarms free range eggs and fry it on up in @bulletproof grass fed ghee πŸ₯“πŸ³

4 Week Keto Progress!
Wow I can't believe it's been a month! It's actually only been 3 weeks of "full Keto" as week 1 was a "transition" week with macros. Here are my week 1 vs week 4 photos. Not a huge change physically overall (which wasn't the point anyways) except that profile shot...! 😁😁 βœ”Weight is 2lbs below starting point (110-111lbs)
βœ”Lost inches & so much water retention in my midsection
βœ”Consuming on avg 2k cals/day.
Macros avg: 140g fat/120p/70 total carbs (35-40 net) βœ”I FEEL AMAZING!!!
I tried using some urine ketone testing strips this past week & it came back negative. I got disappointed 😐 but then I realized 1. Those are extremely inaccurate, esp after a few weeks after starting Keto 2. it doesn't really matter if I FEEL GOOD. I have all the symptoms of having been in ketosis!!!
πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰ Benefits/Symptoms:
πŸ‘‰I have very steady "clean" energy all day long (no crashes at all). I get hungry but it's very "muted". I don't have blood sugar drops or the mental or physical NEED to eat something RIGHT now. πŸ‘‰ I don't have to "fuel up" right before training OR have post workout hypoglycemia. I used to feel drained, hungry & "couldn't wait to eat". Now I'm not depleted & can go sometimes 90 min until I eat PWO, with no negative side effects. πŸ‘‰I can go hours without eating or thinking about food. Yesterday I went 5 HOURS & then finally ate dinner. Even then, I wasn't starving! πŸ‘‰I don't have cravings for Carbs.
I find myself reaching for fats & savory/rich foods. πŸ‘‰My meals satisfy me mentally, emotionally & physically. πŸ‘Œ
πŸ‘‰My sweet tooth has GREATLY decreased. Like almost not there! This is HUGE as I "always" needed something after meals etc. I literally don't even think about sweets!! This might be the biggest win of all!

You're probably wondering what the heck is this… This is my breakfast, an all yolk omelette! ALL YOLK! 😝 It's got two yolks, cheese, green onions, peppers, cooked in butter! It is so delicious! I live a ketogenic lifestyle where basically your body runs off of a fat instead of glucose. So basically take the food pyramid... flip that upside down. Crazy right?! Actually it's not... it's catching on and for a sound reason. The benefits of being in ketosis are solid. The ketogenic lifestyle has been known to starve cancer cells, prevent Alzheimer's, increase energy, promote brain function… And so much more! Google ketogenic lifestyle if you are interested. I've lost all my baby weight this way and on top of it I'm not hungry! There's no 4 pm crash when you're "fat adapted". So happy about that part. 😊πŸ’ͺ🏽 .
