I said YES to a dress! 👰🏼
@thebridesproject in Ann Arbor is a non-profit store run by volunteers, and has an amazing selection of donated gowns, some “pre-loved” by brides, and many brand-new gown donated directly from bridal salons. The best part, all profits from dress sales go to programs that support people touched by cancer. ❤️
My mom and I visited this fall, and seriously, the very first dress I tried on was magical...I was dancing around the store like a Disney Princess. It was never worn, with tags still attached. ✨
We had 2 appointments booked at traditional bridal salons that day, so I decided to wait. Amazingly enough, none of the beautiful dresses I tried on measured up to the first dress.
So....I went back and bought it! Yay! I still have plans for alterations and embellishments of course. ✨
And, no this is not the dress I’ve been working on in my story this weekend...that’s another thrifted treasure! A girls gotta have options... ✂️✨💕
