...and if they are tight, they're going to wreak havoc on your whole body😱 💥Place foot on table/box/chair
💥Use hand to hold foot in place 💥Slide straight foot back
💥Keeping shin vertical, gently drop knee out to the side
💥Turn torso toward the elevated knee
💥Breathe
💥Then do the opposite--turn away from elevated knee toward foot
💥Breathe
💥Slowly drive hips back to scour the back of the hip 💥Then slide forward and ✨repeat✨ because scouring that joint will provide a whole heck of a lot of freedom and you gotta capitalize on that🙌🏼

Happy New Moon 🌚
Now that the buzz of the holidays have worn off, and we are deep into winter, this is a great time to hibernate and reflect on what we want to manifest for the new year. I’ve never felt like I needed to rush into resolutions starting the first of the year. Every start of the month, every start of a new moon, even every start of each day is an opportunity to start anew. I love to use this time between January 1st and the Chinese New Year as a buffer to get into the flow of how I want the year to unfold.

I normally like to end each class with 10 mins of stretching but the last few days I’ve been showing them how to foam roll different parts of their body. Jumping will increase the intensity of stress on the plantar fascia strengthening it even further than the previous exercise.
.
This exercise is great for people that do suffer from flat feet that would like to start running again. It helps train the foot to support a higher impact to decrease the amount of strain on the arch.

You only perform this once you have found the exercise from the previous post is easy to perform. The reason is if you jump to this exercise to soon it can increase the risk of injury because your arches will not be able to stay tight and strong and support the pressure of the weight of your body.

Strengthen your feet at the rate your own body think is correct, everyone is different so don't rush it.
