gather: 1: to bring together : collect 2 a : pick, harvest : to come together in a body
The word "gather" has stuck out to me for the last year for no apparent reason, but after looking up the definition, it's funny how fitting it is for the last 2 years. •May 30, 2015, my now hubby quite literally "picked" me when he proposed in the strawberry patch. •We then began "collecting" plans... wedding plans, house plans, budget plans (that list could go on and on.) • This past October, appropriately during the month of "harvest", all of our family and friends "gathered" for our wedding. The day not only all those plans "came together," but also my husband and I to form a new unit. •So, now I find it quite appropriate that this little "gather" pillow my sister made is in my living room which is often a gathering place for loved ones or just Ry and I to relax at the end of the day. I think now each time I look at it, I will think of all the different things it's meant the last 2 years.
