“But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.”
1 Peter 1:15-16 KJV
I think as Christian parents, we can get so much truth from this verse. Although the Bible doesn’t have verbatim, all the things we as Christians, should and shouldn’t do... there are some principles and standards we can set in our homes based off of sound Bible principles. Take this verse for instance. “Be ye holy...” If you take all of your beliefs concerning music, friends, how you dress, where you go, how you talk, etc., and size them up next to this verse... I think some of our standards would change. .
We’ve got to get busy teaching our children where we get our standards from. And the only place they should come from, is the Bible!
Sharing this view in my kitchen today! I can’t wait to get the back yard all straightened out so I can have a view standing at this kitchen sink! ❤️
